Lake Forest Services has provided caregiver services for my father since February. They have been wonderful, especially since COVID.
I haven’t been able to visit him at his dementia care home, but have received numerous compliments on Lake Forest Services workers who are caring for him. I wouldn’t hesitate to employ them again if needed.

David and I would like to thank you all for your care for Mom Teri. We appreciate the effort to get Mom into hospice and for providing her access to and from the ER and to her new home. We thank you for the caregiving and the support we were given when it was time to move Mom.
Please thank the nurse that came by and worked with her in San Clemente also. She lived a long life, but our time with her was too short. We know she is in heaven and she’s dancing and singing! That we’ll see her again is precious!!

The purpose of this letter is to detail my overall evaluation of Lake Forest Services based on my personal experiences.
During 2018 my father could no longer take care of all his daily needs. He needed help getting out of bed, showering, getting dressed, and having his breakfast prepared for him. In addition to these daily tasks, additional help regarding ensuring that he take his pills and blood pressure became necessary.
Fortunately, due to my father’s military service during WWII, the Veterans Administration determined that my father qualified for a benefit that allowed for this type of assistance.
The VA asked me if I would like to review the background of the various Home Care Service companies that they have contracts with. I replied that any company that meets the VA level of quality service would certainly meet the level of quality service I would approve of. So I left the choice of selecting a Home Care Service company up to the discretion of the VA.
The next day I received a phone call from Serj Aguirre from Lake Forest Services. He set up a meeting with me at my parents’ home prior to sending a caregiver to work with my father. This meeting allowed Serj to become aware of my father’s needs and allowed me to ask any questions that I had.
From that point forward, a caregiver from Lake Forest Services became a welcome addition to providing assistance for my father’s daily activities. Every caregiver who visited my father was clearly top notch. It became very obvious to me that in order to be employed by Lake Forest Services, a caregiver has to be extremely good at providing the needs of their clients as well as having a personality and temperament that people enjoy being around.
Obviously having a select few number of caregivers working with my father became preferable since the caregiver learned the routine of what my father needed and expected. So, in most cases, one of three caregivers became assigned to visit my father as part of their weekly schedule. The 3 caregivers are Jimmy Guanco, Larena Lett, and Katrina Uy.
There aren’t enough good words I could write to let you know just how good these 3 caregivers truly are. These caregivers have taken such good care of my father that they have become like family to us.
Unfortunately my father passed away a couple of months ago. But it became apparent that my mother also needed the same type of caregiver service that my father had been receiving. So the same caregivers listed above are now helping to take care of my mother’s daily needs.
I hope that this letter will serve as a testimonial detailing the excellent caregiver service that Lake Forest Services provides.
If any family residing in Orange County is in need of caregiver service for a loved one, I would strongly recommend that they contact Lake Forest Services.
